Children's Sunday School

For ages 3 - 9

Kids will learn about God through Bible stories, crafts, drama, games, and music. For your child's safety, we do police checks on all of our staff and operate according to a registered safe place policy.

Our goal is to help kids make the most of life, build good character, and learn about God. The Bible says God wants to give us life, as full as it can be.

We provide nursery care for ages 0-2 years old each Sunday morning during the worship service.

Our nursery is newly renovated, and is functional with a crib and change table. It also has plenty of toys and activities, such as a little kitchen with food, table and chairs, a Thomas the Train set, and book nook.

It is staffed by friendly and capable volunteers, who take turns each week to care for the little ones who drop by.
Worship Services

Singing together has always been a vital part of our worship service at Grantham. Each Sunday we begin our service with a time of singing together led by a worship team and band. We sing music contemporary songs and then add a mix of hymns and other choruses.

Throughout the year, we also have the choir sing. Generally, this happens for Christmas and Easter. At this time, we usually prepare some larger works or cantatas.

Being part of the music ministry is a great way to be involved at Grantham. We enjoy the challenges of working together to create music and to share it with the congregation.

A special time in our service is when we simply listen to God's word being read, this is a very important part of our worship service.

It is always exciting to welcome new people into any of our ministries at Grantham. Besides music or scripture reading there is also opportunity to work with the technical areas of the service such as sound and powerpoint operation. If you would like more information or are looking to become involved, please contact Ruth Wiebe, Worship Coordinator at the church office. She would be happy to talk with you about it.
